Kollidon 12 PF is a low molecular weight (7000-11000) , pyrogen free , polymerised and spray dried polymer powders with a faint, characteristic odor. Kollidon 12 PF is intended for the use in pareneral pharmaceutical formulation particularily suitable for dissolvable microneedles and thus tested for bacterial endotoxins.. It is also suitable to be used as a solubilising agent,dispersants and crystallization inhibitor particularly for injectables. These properties are of particular interest for antibiotics in solution or in lyophilized powder form.. It comes with a special PeroXeal packaging , which minimises peroxide formation.
