Kolliwax® CSA 70 is a white to pale yellow, wax like-mass supplied as free flowing mirco pearls. On account of its consistency giving characteristics Kolliwax® CSA 70 is mainly used for viscosity regulation in pharmaceutical emulsions. Kolliwax CSA 70 is compatible with most natural vegetable and animal waxes. It creates a more stable matrix, when formulated with emulsifier and water. Kolliwax CSA 70 is known to have a slightly broader melting point window than Kolliwax® CA and Kolliwax® SA.
