Kollicoat® MAE 100 P is a white redispersible powder with a faint characteristic odor. The partially neutralized carboxyl groups in the powder make it easy to redisperse in water without further auxiliaries. Kollicoat® MAE 100 P Coating contains 0.7% sodium lauryl sulphate (USP) and 2.3% Polysorbate 80 (Ph.Eur.) as emulsifying agents. The fatty acids used in the manufacture of Polysorbate 80 are of vegetable origin. Kollicoat® MAE 100 P Coating is a weakly acidic copolymer that dissolves at a pH above 5.5. It is also soluble in dilute alkaline solutions.
