Kolliphor® SLS Fine is a white to off-white powder with faint characteristic odor. The product tends to agglomerate. The agglomerates exhibit a yellowish to brownish color and are completely soluble by heating and stirring. Solubilizing, the agglomerates does not influence the product quality. The product is characterized by a very high active substance matter and a very low content of inorganic salts and unsulfated fatty alcohol. Preferred areas of application are pharmaceutical emulsion, tablets and cream shampoos.Spray-dried fine sodium lauryl sulfate, based on a natural saturated straight-chain primary fatty alcohol. The finer particles for more controlled and efficient solubilization. Widely used ionic solubilizer and high HLB anionic emulsifier. Additionally suitable as wetting agent or lubricant. Kolliphor SLS is suitable for solid, semi-solid dosage forms and foams. Particularly suitable for direct compression
