Polyvinylpyrrolidone

Product Description
Kollidon 12 PF Kollidon® 12 PF and Kollidon® 17 PF, our soluble low molecular and pyrogen-free Kollidons, deliver functionality to many different areas of formulation. They can be used to stabilize micro-molecular structures in injectables and lyophilisates. They can also form hydrogen bonds with compounds with complementary structures for improved dissolution.
Kollidon 17 PF Kollidon® 12 PF and Kollidon® 17 PF, our soluble low molecular and pyrogen-free Kollidons, deliver functionality to many different areas of formulation. They can be used to stabilize micro-molecular structures in injectables and lyophilisates. They can also form hydrogen bonds with compounds with complementary structures for improved dissolution.
Kollidon 25 Kollidon® 25 has been used successfully for decades in pharmaceutical formulations – the adhesive, film-forming, dispersing and thickening properties of soluble Kollidon® are used in tablet binding, sugar coating, film coating, solubilization, stabilization and numerous other ways.
Kollidon 30 The PVP that started it all. Invented by Walter Reppe over 75 years ago Kollidon® 30 is used successfully for decades in pharmaceutical formulations – the adhesive, film-forming, dispersing and thickening properties of soluble Kollidon® are used in tablet binding, sugar coating, film coating, solubilization, stabilization and numerous other ways.
Kollidon 30 LP Kollidon® 30 LP delivers the same extensive range of functionality in various formulations as is big brother Kollidon® 30. Yet it is particularly suitable for peroxide-sensitive active ingredients – due to its built in peroxide protection, Kollidon® 30 LP forms no peroxides for extensive period of time, even after the PeroXeal packaging is opened. Kollidon® 30 LP is therefore particularly suited for the use as binder for peroxide sensitive drugs in solid oral dosage forms.
Kollidon 90 F Kollidon® 90 F is a soluble high-molecular povidone with highest binding properties within the povidone range. Kollidon® 90 F is the strongest wet-granulation binder on the market. Primarily used as a binder in granules and tablets, it can also be deployed to modify the viscosity of liquid dosage forms, and improve bioavailability of certain poorly soluble actives. The adhesive, film-forming, dispersing and thickening properties of the soluble Kollidon® grades are used in tablet production, sugar coating, film coating and in the preparation of other dosage forms. The improvement in the solubility of active ingredients brought about by complexation or association, and the thickening effect find use mainly in the manufacture of liquid presentation forms.
